fonts-noto-mono software package provides No Tofu monospaced font family with large Unicode coverage, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-noto-mono
fonts-noto-mono is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-noto-mono package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-noto-mono *
You will get with fonts-noto-mono package name, version, architecture and description in a table
